In Serbia there are over 1,000 cold and warm mineral water springs, and a great wealth of natural mineral gases and medicinal mud. In over 53 thermal resorts, the benefits of which even the ancient Romans enjoyed, spa therapies have been adapted to treat a wide range of health ailments and diseases and involve drinking medicinal water or taking medicinal baths.

Bukovicka Banja spa is located in Arandjelovac, at the base of the Bukulja mountain. It lies at 256 m above sea-level and is 76 km from Belgrade.
Bukovicka Banja can be reached by taking the main road from Belgrade via Mladenovac.
Banja Koviljaca, is a popular tourist town and spa situated in the Loznica municipality, Serbia. It is the oldest spa in Serbia.
Banja Koviljaca is located on the west border of Serbia by the Drina river, 137 kilometres from Belgrade.
The population of the town is 6,340 people (2002 census).
The Vrujci Spa is located at the foot of the mountains Suvobor and Maljen, between Ljig and Mionica. It belongs to the Mionica municipality and the Kolubara District.

Mataruska Banja is a spa town in Serbia.
It is situated in the Kraljevo municipality near 9 km, in the Raska District. Across this town runs the river Ibar.
The population of the town is 2,732 people (2002 census). The most beautiful spa in Serbia.
Ovcar Banja is a village in the municipality of Cacak, Serbia. The 2002 census recorded a population of 168 people in the village. It is near the Ovcar-Kablar gorge, known as the Serbian Holy Mountain of Athos because of the numerous monasteries situated in this area.
The monastieres of Vavedenje, Nikolje, Jovanje, Preobrazenje, Sretenje, Svete Trojice, Blagovestenje, Uspenije, Vaznesenje and Ilinje have existed in this gorge for centuries.
The church of St. Sava and the cave church Kadjenica are also situated in this region.
Prolom or Prolom Banja is a spa in the municipality of Kursumlija in southern Serbia. Prolom lies below the slopes of the wooded mountains of Radan and Sokolovica, at the altitude between 550 and 670 meters.
It has several springs, of temperatures between 26 and 31,5 °C. "Prolom water" (Prolom voda) is a low-mineral water, said to have high curative characteristics, and it is bottled and sold worldwide.
There is hotel "Radan" with 212 rooms, medical and wellness center.
According to the 2002 census, the village has a population of 111 people.
Vrnjacka Banja is a town, municipality, and a resort, mineral spa located in Raska District of Serbia.
It contains the world's only hot spring with a temperature measuring exactly that of the human body (36.5 degrees Celsius)
Sokobanja is one of the most popular tourist resorts in Serbia. It is situated in the southern part of Sokobanja valley, surrounded by mountains Ozren, Devica, Janior, Rtanj and Bukovik.
The Moravica River runs through Sokobanja. It creates a canyon just 2 km before entering the town.
Remains of the Roman and later medieval Serbian fortress Sokograd stand today near the canyon of Moravica.
Lake Bovan is situated some 10 minutes of drive to the west of Sokobanja.
Divcibare is located on Maljen mountain, 38 km southeast of Valjevo, and lies 980 m above sea-level.
Because of its favourable geographic position, coastal air masses reach Divcibare, meeting with those of the Carpathian and Pannonian regions, which explains the increased presence of iodine in the air.
Ribarska banja (riba means fish in Serbian) is located at 200km south of Belgrade, in central Serbia about 35km from Krusevac. It is surrounded by dense forest with always fresh and clean air, at an altitude of 540 m. The thermal existence is related to the more ancient times, and it is estimated that the hot water were used by the Roman legions and in the Middle Ages by the Serbian nobility. There are 6 sources of mineral water, with temperatures from 38°to 42 °C, and the dense forests and clean air has a characteristic climatic places. You can enjoy sport and recreation and a variety of entertainment events.
